We're so excited to be able to offer some really stellar classes and workshops here at the ranch! Our classes are a great way to relax, mingle with other plant and garden lovers and do something out of the ordinary. Come by yourself or bring some friends along with you. All evening classes are BYOW (bring your own wine), if you choose.

  • Design Your Place

    Jan 17th | 3:30-5:00 am | $25

    How well do you understand your yard and your place? This class will guide you on figuring out the lay of the land, sun/shade areas, wet/dry areas, how to measure the areas you want to change, and what kind of gardens will work for you. Emphasis will be on creating functional gardens, such as habitat gardens, food gardens, herb gardens, and rain gardens. If you decide to take Class 2, there will be homework based on the information given in Class 1.  

    Class 2 will be held Jan 24th and is not necessary to attend class 1.

  • DIY Wheel Thrown Pottery

  • Handbuilding Clay Woven Bowl

    Jan 19th | 11 - 1 | $45

    Learn the art of handbuilding clay to create your very own unique woven bowl. Our expert instructors will guide you through the process, no experience necessary!Participants will start with extruded clay coils and a bowl mold of your choice. Earthly Pottery Co. will demonstrate the weaving and slip methods necessary to create this great piece!After choosing from several of our house-made glaze colors, your pieces will travel back to the Earthly Pottery studio for firing.     Pick your project and create a chubby snowman OR a snowman playing in the snow to display in your home or give as a gift. Choose to hang your snowman or purchase a wooden stand (stand sold separately).

    The glass pieces are pre-cut. These classes are for people that want to dip their toes into the world of stained glass to see if they enjoy it. Learn the basic techniques of working with stained glass, or build on skills you’ve already acquired, and create this glass sun-catcher to display in your home.
